We are thankful for the support and trust of our audiences. We promise to be your partner as we navigate the 2021–2022 season together. Read our commitment to you.
Program Changes and Cancellations
Programs and artists are subject to change. If an event presented by Carnegie Hall is cancelled or postponed, we will announce the change—if time permits—by email, phone, a letter sent to your home, and on carnegiehall.org. To confirm a concert, call CarnegieCharge at 212-247-7800. We encourage you to use your carnegiehall.org account when purchasing your tickets so that in the event of any significant changes we can contact you.
Single Ticket Sales
No refunds, no exchanges. Artists, programs, dates, and prices are subject to change.
Additional Ticketing Policies for the Resnick Education Wing
Tickets for events in the Resnick Education Wing are only available through carnegiehall.org and CarnegieCharge. All ticket sales and reservations end at 11:59 PM the night before the event. Tickets are required for each attendee, including infants. For free events, tickets serve as a confirmation of your reservation, but do not guarantee admission. For this reason, you are asked to arrive 30 minutes in advance.
Donate Your Tickets
If you are unable to use your tickets to a Carnegie Hall presented event (eligible concerts are listed on our website as “Carnegie Hall Presents”), we will gratefully accept them as a tax-deductible contribution. Call CarnegieCharge at 212-247-7800 for more information, or return your tickets to the Box Office. You can make this tax-deductible donation anytime up to two hours before the show.
Didn’t Get Your Tickets?
If you requested that we mail your tickets and did not receive them within 10 days of placing your order, please call CarnegieCharge at 212-247-7800 with your account information to make alternative arrangements.
Will-Call Ticket Pick Up
To reduce pre-concert lobby congestion, tickets held at the Box Office must be picked up no later than two hours before the event. When possible, we encourage you to pick up tickets in advance of the event date. The Box Office is open every day (Monday through Saturday, 11 AM – 6 PM; Sunday, 12 PM–6PM).
Print-at-Home Ticket Delivery
Print-at-home tickets arrive by email shortly after your initial confirmation is sent. In some instances, it may take up to 30 minutes for print-at-home tickets to be delivered to your email address. Please keep in mind that the email (sent from firstname.lastname@example.org) may redirect to your spam or junk folder.
If your tickets have not arrived within 30 minutes, and you have confirmed that the email is not in your spam or junk folder, please call CarnegieCharge at 212-247-7800.
Please adhere to all published ticket limits. Eight tickets per household per performance is the ticket limit for all Carnegie Hall presentations. Persons who exceed these limits may have any or all of their ticket orders cancelled without notice by Carnegie Hall at its discretion. This includes orders with the same name, email address, billing address, credit card number, and/or other information.
If you would like to purchase 10 tickets or more to a specific Carnegie Hall presentation, please contact email@example.com by email or call 212-903-9705. Abuse of subscriber policies could lead to reduced subscriber benefits (such as loss of exchange or name-change privileges) or cancellation of subscriptions.
Third-Party Ticket Purchases
Carnegie Hall is not responsible for tickets purchased through unauthorized third parties such as ticket brokers or online outlets. Tickets purchased from third parties may not be valid and unusable for admittance, and we cannot replace lost or stolen third-party tickets. Tickets purchased from third parties may be priced much higher than the ticket’s actual face value, and we will be unable to contact holders of such tickets about program changes or cancellations.
Help us serve you in the best manner possible by purchasing your tickets only at the Carnegie Hall Box Office, through CarnegieCharge, or online at carnegiehall.org.
We charge a non-refundable fee of $8 per event ticket purchased through carnegiehall.org or CarnegieCharge, except for tickets and reservations for events in the Resnick Education Wing. There is a non-refundable fee of $2.50 per tour ticket purchased through carnegiehall.org or CarnegieCharge. There is no convenience fee charged on any tickets purchased in person at the Carnegie Hall Box Office.
Our electronic scanning of tickets upon entry helps prevent problems that can cause pre-concert delays or long lines in the lobby and also enables you to retain your entire ticket as a concert souvenir. When exchanging or donating a ticket, a new ticket is issued in place of the returned ticket, and only the most recently issued ticket for a specific seat location at a given performance is valid for entry. If you have any questions, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call CarnegieCharge at 212-247-7800.
Please note that discounts cannot be combined with any other offer, are subject to availability and prior sale, and are not valid on prior purchases. Discounts may be discontinued at any time.
We greatly appreciate your cooperation with necessary security measures that ensure the safety of our audience, artists, and employees. Please don’t bring bags, parcels, or luggage to Carnegie Hall. All belongings are subject to inspection, and management reserves the right to limit access to the premises.
