Just released, Rhythm Explorer is a new game for kids in grades K–5 (and up), created by Carnegie Hall in collaboration with FableVision. This fun, interactive rhythm game features songs from Carnegie Hall’s Musical Explorers program. Throughout the game, players develop their rhythm skills while exploring diverse musical traditions and instruments from around the world. The web-based game features Rhythmo, a "metro-gnome" game guide who also keeps time in the corner of the screen. Players can choose from six song options and learn facts about the musical traditions and featured instruments. Click here for a look into Rhythm Explorer.
All of the activities on Carnegie Hall Kids are free and accessible across the globe. The site is regularly refreshed with new content, including quizzes and games. Carnegie Hall Kids is a product of Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute (WMI)—the education and social impact arm of the Hall—which serves hundreds of thousands of students and families around the world through in-person programming and online resources.
