Riccardo Muti: Biography of the Maestro
Although he has performed here many times since his debut with the Philadelphia Orchestra in 1975, we are excited that Riccardo Muti comes to Carnegie Hall on April 15, 16, and 17, for the first time as Music Director and Conductor of Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
Playing programs of Verdi, Berlioz, and Cherubini, Liszt, and Shostakovich, the Maestro and orchestra will be joined by a host of soloists including French actor, Gerard Depardieu.
