The Achievement Program: Increase the Power of Your Private Music Studio

Carnegie Hall is proud to partner with Canada's Royal Conservatory of Music through The Achievement Program, a national set of musical standards for people studying music privately across the US. Independent music teachers in the NYC area are invited to learn more about the program this month during a lively information session held at Columbia University's Teachers College.

Mezzo-soprano and voice teacher Vielka Kelly-Weiss recently attended an information session  and shares her experiences below.

The Teacher Information Session for the Achievement Program was inspiring and valuable. I learned the history behind this revolutionary assessment program, witnessed a mock adjudication and learned about opportunities for myself and my studio. Questions were answered and materials were on hand to peruse and take home. I networked with colleagues with shared values for music education and even reconnected with old friends.

An opportunity no music teacher or student will want to miss.

This is an opportunity that no music teacher or student will want to miss!

You too can experience a Teacher Information Session on January 30 at 7 PM, at the Milbank Chapel at Columbia University's Teachers College. There, you'll learn how to gain access to proven teaching materials, discovernew ways to connect with students and celebrate their accomplishments, spark conversation with parents, and benefit from being part of an established tradition of excellence in music education—no volunteer hours, fees, or paperwork required.

Learn how easy it is to integrate The Achievement Program into your current teaching program. To RSVP for the session on January 30, click here.
