The Carnegie Hall Master Class: Elise Figa on her early music journey

Vocalist Elise Figa shares what it’s like to be a part of Carnegie Hall’s first early-music professional training program, exploring Baroque performance practice with period-instrument specialists. Led by three members of the celebrated and remarkably versatile ensemble L’Arpeggiata, including artistic director Christina Pluhar, violinist Veronika Skuplik, and cornettist Doron David Sherwin, the workshop will explore vocal interpretation (from the perspective of both singers and continuo players), ensemble playing, and improvisation.

Elise Figa discusses her journey in this first installment of her L'Arpeggiata Master Class vlog.
