Taste of Oakville: Live at Carnegie Hall
Carnegie Hall is proud to present its first-ever wine tasting event with the Oakville Winegrowers Association on Wednesday, November 14, benefiting the Hall's artistic and educational programming.
Wine aficionados will have the opportunity to meet with winegrowers and taste various wines from 23 of Oakville's distinguished wineries. The wines will be paired with a sampling of foods from some of New York's finest restaurants, including David Burke, The Four Seasons Restaurant, Mas la Grillade, Quality Meats, and Restaurant Associates.
Oakville is a highly esteemed region in Napa Valley because of the "unique quality of its soils and enviable climate"—perfect conditions to grow Oakville's most popular wine, Cabernet Sauvignon. The Oakville Winegrowers Association presents an annual "trade only" event each spring in Napa Valley, but at Taste of Oakville: Live at Carnegie Hall, the public has the opportunity to participate.
The event starts at 6:30 PM in the Rohatyn Room of Carnegie Hall on Wednesday, November 14. Tickets are $275 per person ($200 is tax deductible). If you are interested in attending, please call the Special Events department at 212-903-9679 or reserve online at carnegiehall.org/SpecialEvents.
