Orchestral World Series

Last night the Boston Red Sox bested the St. Louis Cardinals in game one of the 2013 World Series. While the two cities continue their battle on the diamond tonight, there's another battle for bragging rights happening off the field ... in the concert hall!

Though we thoroughly enjoy the spectacle (especially Seiji Ozawa's cameo), we can't take sides in the Orchestral World Series face off between the Boston Symphony and the St. Louis Symphony, but we can encourage you to hear both orchestras at Carnegie Hall this season.

Charismatic conductor David Robertson leads the St. Louis Symphony and an outstanding cast in a concert performance of Britten's Peter Grimes, on November 22.
