Ambartsumian Violins

Based at the Hodgson School of Music of the University of Georgia in Athens since 1995, Armenian violinist Levon Ambartsumian, and his wife, Uzbek violinist-violist Shakhida Azimkodjaeva, are co-founders of the ARCO Chamber Ensemble, which has performed in Russia and the United States since 1989. With their children Alexander and Anna Seda, also violinists, the Ambartsumian Violins return to Weill Recital Hall for a program that includes two works composed especially for them.
