Romance: German and French Romantic Music for Flute and Piano

French flutist Patrick Gallois and Vienna-based pianist Maria Prinz explore the world of musical romances for flute and piano in Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall. In this concert, they perform works by German and French composers, including Schumann’s Three Romances, Op. 94 and Carl Reinecke’s Sonata "Undine". Also on the program is Saint-Saëns’s Romance, Op.37; Widor’s Suite, Op. 34; and Pierné’s Sonata for Flute and Piano, Op. 36.
