An Evening of Chamber Music with the FSU College of Music

Weill Recital Hall
What Is Noise is a new music ensemble based in Tallahassee, Florida, that is committed to the performance and proliferation of accessible contemporary music. With two composers in the ensemble, by programming works by other living composers, the ensemble reinforces that new music is created by and for the impact of the community and society as a whole. What Is Noise performs eclectic concerts of works that include all members of the ensemble, as well as pieces featuring solo players or smaller chamber groups. The group uses spoken program notes and multimedia clips between works to educate and connect directly with the audience.
