Youth Orchestras of Columbus and Cincinnati

The Columbus Symphony Youth Orchestra, founded in 1955, and the Cincinnati Symphony Youth Orchestra, founded in 1964, represent over 50 high schools in central and southwestern Ohio, southeastern Indiana, and northern Kentucky. They are dedicated to the cultivation of talent and providing young instrumentalists with challenging rehearsal and performance experiences in professional settings. Each CSYO emphasizes the performance of traditional orchestral literature under the leadership of professional conductors.
