Ryan Thorn’s “commanding baritone” (Stage and Cinema) makes him ideal for a wide range of operatic roles. Thorn attended Music Academy of the West in 2015, and performed in Rossini’s L’italiana in Algeri, Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, and Sondheim’s Sweeney Todd as a member of Portland Opera’s resident artist program. Thorn partners with collaborative pianist Andrew Sun, a Music Academy of the West fellow and Manhattan School of Music staff member.
