For the first time in nearly 40 years, the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir returns to Carnegie Hall. Zabur, an oratorio commissioned in 2015 by the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir and composed by New York-based Mohammed Fairouz, with a libretto by playwright Najla Said, receives its New York City premiere. The work is paired opposite Britten’s Les Illuminations.
