MidAmerica Productions opens its 34th season with Italian conductor Giuseppe Lanzetta leading Mozart’s Eine kleine Nachtmusik, K.525, and Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy, Op. 80. Scott Youngs conducts three of Handel’s Coronation Anthems: Zadok the Priest, The King Shall Rejoice, and My Heart is Inditing, with the New England Symphonic Ensemble. The Ensemble Spotlight Series features Anne Klus conducting three ensembles from St. Paul, Minnesota, in Thompson’s Frostiana: Seven Country Songs. Other participating choruses are from Arizona, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Virginia.
