Violinist Irina Muresanu and pianist Angela Draghicescu present an evening of Romanian inspired music as they pay tribute to the centennial anniversary of the birth of pianist Dinu Lipatti. The concert features chamber works from Lipatti’s repertoire, such as Enescu and Bartók, as well as the US premiere of two rarely heard chamber works by the pianist: the Sonatine for Violin and Piano and the Nocturne for Solo Piano in F-sharp minor.
