Russian-born and Germany-based pianist and composer Leon Gurvitch performs works from his solo piano album Remember Me, featuring elements of classical, jazz, world, and Eastern European folkloric influences. Leon has composed more than 300 works, which have been performed at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC; Brussels’ Palais des Beaux-Arts; and at the Moscow Tchaikovsky-Conservatory in Russia. Leon was Artist-in-Residence at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in 2016, and was nominated for the 2015 Hamburg Music Award “Musician of the Year”.
