Thomas Adès and Friends

An Afternoon of Song

Zankel Hall
Thomas Adès is a musical polymorph. His operas, orchestral works, and songs “take you to new places, via soundscapes and landscapes of feeling” (The Guardian). A brilliant pianist praised for his “velvety pianissimos and pungent fortissimo growls” (The New York Times), he has also performed recitals with many of the great singers of our time. A quartet of stars from the cast of his newest opera join him for an afternoon of song, featuring his own works and music by other composers.
