Pianist Eric Lu is the first-prize winner of the 2017 International German Piano Award in Frankfurt, and the 2015 US National Chopin Competition in Miami, where he also received the prize for best performance of a concerto. In October 2015, at 17 years old, Mr. Lu won the 4th prize at the 17th International Fryderyk Chopin Competition in Warsaw. Following the Chopin Competition, he toured Japan and Korea with the Warsaw Philharmonic, performing in halls such as Tokyo Metropolitan Hall, Seoul Arts Center, Osaka Symphony Hall, and Sapporo Arts Center. Mr. Lu's debut CD was released under the Fryderyk Chopin Institute in Warsaw, recorded from the Chopin Competition.
