Daniel Röhn, Violin
Rohan De Silva, Piano

Weill Recital Hall
German violinist Daniel Röhn returns with a program of French and German violin favorites. Debussy’s last work, the Violin Sonata, is followed by Bach’s Chaconne from the Partita No.2 in D minor, BWV 1004. While Leclair’s Sonata No.3 has enjoyed popularity among violinists throughout the ages, Mendelssohn’s lesser known Sonata in F major of 1838 is somewhat of a hidden gem. Daniel is joined by violin duo partner Rohan de Silva.
