This collaborative exhibition focuses on the 1960s at Washington Square through selections from NYU Libraries Special Collections. From sanctuary to gallery, from the classroom to the streets, the exhibition explores the activism, issues, and creativity that unfolded during the decade and how Downtown New York became an influential convergence point.
