Documenting the last year of the life of the late civil rights leader, this exhibition of photos by Benedict J. Fernandez includes the recent addition of accompanying text by Dr. Stephen Weinstein, under the direction of Dr. Richard K. Lieberman of the LaGuardia and Wagner Archives, in conjunction with the photographer and LaGuardia Humanities Department Professor Hugo Fernandez. A special event in March will mark the 50th anniversary of Dr. King’s assassination.
