Manhattan International Music Competition has become a real symbol of young classical music performers. Pianists, singers, and string performers from all around the world applied for this competition, and an international jury presided over by Ivo Pogorelich collaborated to choose the winners. The winners Haik Kazazyan (violin), Alexia Mouza (piano) and Catherine Trottmann (mezzo soprano) will offer a varied program at Carnegie Hall, performing pieces by Tchaikovsky, Chopin, Rachmaninov, Mozart, and Rossini.
