Pianist and soprano Zhiyi Ge performs a concert featuring Eastern and Western classical music as well as selections from American musical theatre. The concert begins with solo piano works by Liszt and a piano trio by Schubert. The second half features songs by Rodgers and Hammerstein, and the program ends with the last movement of The Yellow River Piano Concerto — “Defend the Yellow River”.
