Shen Yun Symphony Orchestra returns to Carnegie Hall to perform works inspired by 5,000 years of Chinese civilization as well as classics by Tchaikovsky, Wagner, and Sarasate. This program features the sounds of classical Chinese instruments—such as the erhu and the pipa—melded with the grandeur of a Western orchestra. Shen Yun’s singers will join the orchestra to perform traditional bel canto in Chinese.
