The New Sounds of the US and China

Jian Shi (MD, Ph.D. candidate) will make his Carnegie Hall debut with a program that features contemporary works by American and Chinese composers, including two world premieres. Mr.Shi attended the Central South University Xiangya Medical School, Weill Cornell Medicine, and the Juilliard School. He is a member of the Chinese Musicians’ Association and New York Piano Society and served as a jury member for the 11th International Frederic Chopin Competition for Young Pianists.
