This concert opens with the University of Montevallo Concert Choir performing a varied program and culminates with a commemoration of the centennial of the WWI armistice and Celebration of Peace, featuring the Gotham SINGS! Festival Chorus and Orchestra in a performance of Ralph Vaughan Williams’s Dona Nobis Pacem. Conductor Craig Jessop will lead a 200-voice chorus of singers from around the country along with professional soloists and orchestra in Vaughan Williams’s plea for peace.
