Melanie Charles is a singer, composer, producer, and flutist from Brooklyn, New York. Of Haitian decent, Charles has performed at top venues all over the world and has collaborated with artists who include SZA and the Gorillaz. She has created a genre of her own by fusing samples, jazz standards, and Haitian folk songs.
