Dr. Gloria Browne-Marshall, associate professor of Constitutional Law at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, presents a talk on the migration of African American women across the United States at various points during our nation's history, including those who escaped slavery and the waves of those who moved from oppression in the South as part of the Great Migration.
