Moniuszko Bicentenary Gala

The Polish Government has declared 2019 the Year of Stanisław Moniuszko, the father of Polish Opera. This concert will showcase songs and opera arias by the composer as well as his String Quartet in D minor, virtuoso piano paraphrases of his songs, the world premiere of Crimean Sonnet by composer Norbert Palej, and classics by Chopin, Rossini, and Bizet. This concert inaugurates the Moniuszko celebrations in the United States.
