Scots and those of Scottish descent were pivotal in the development of modern America. In turn, Americans play a key role in the economic and cultural development of Scotland today. The Scottish Government hosts a panel of academic experts to discuss the history of Scottish migration to America and the ongoing importance of migration today. Panelists include Marjory Harper, Colin Calloway, and Graeme Morton.
