Award-winning author and illustrator Don Brown discusses his graphic novel, The Great American Dust Bowl. Through both words and images, kids (ages 9–12) will get a true feel for one of the hardest chapters in American history—a period that saw one of the largest migrations in US history, with more than 3.5 million people displaced between 1930 and 1940 alone.
Part of: Migrations: The Making of America
Free (with museum admission)
