A dedicated advocate of contemporary American music, Dr. Carl Patrick Bolleia's improvisational solo recital on both harpsichord and piano will showcase the thread of spontaneity found in music of the Baroque to the present day. The concert culminates with the world premiere of Frederic Rzewski’s Let It Shine and his 20th-Century masterwork, Four North American Ballads.
