Chamber Vocal & Instrumental Music at Carnegie Hall

Russian soprano Yulia Petrachuk and South Korean conductor Kwanghyun Kim will perform Requiem for the Fallen by Dubois, a reflection on the loss of life due to senseless war violence. The lyrics set to the music are excerpts of poems by Emily Dickinson, Laurence Binyon, Rudyard Kipling, and John McCrae. 15-year-old Austrian violinist Almos Quevedo will perform Concerto No.1 in G-minor by Bruch. South Korean soprano Eunsie Hong will conclude the evening with select Mozart’s arias.
