The Orchestra Now (TŌN), conducted by music director Leon Botstein, performs four works from the late 1920s that give us insight into the evolving world of orchestral music 90 years ago. These include the first NYC performances in over 50 years of rarely-heard pieces by Arthur Honegger and Dimitri Mitropoulos, along with Divertimento, the suite from Igor Stravinsky’s ballet score The Fairy’s Kiss.
