With 2020 marking the 250th anniversary of Beethoven’s birth, Yannick Nézet-Séguin and guest musicians from The Philadelphia Orchestra explore the master composer’s connection to the world around him despite his own personal challenges.

Performances include excerpts from Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5; Symphony No. 6, “Pastoral”; String Quartet in B-flat Major, Op. 18, No. 6; and Three Equali, WoO 30; plus Iman Habibi’s Jeder Baum spricht.
