Cancelled: The Cecilia Chorus of New York with Orchestra

Music Director Mark Shapiro leads the 150-voice Cecilia Chorus of New York, with orchestra and soloists, in Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana ("O Fortuna") and William Walton’s Belshazzar’s Feast ("Thou art weighed in the balance and found wanting"). Soloists include George London Foundation award-winners Martin Bakari and Steven LaBrie, both making their Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage debuts. The chorus, a 2015 ASCAP/Chorus America Award Winner, is one of New York’s earliest established choral societies, founded in 1906.
