Appearing as part of the Roy and Shirley Durst Debut Artist Series, Michelle Cann joins the NYYS Orchestra and Music Director Michael Repper for a performance of a recently rediscovered piano concerto by Florence Price. This concert also includes the world premiere of Obliviana by Patrick O’Malley, which was commissioned by NYYS' First Music competition for young composers. NYYS ends its season on a bold note with Mahler’s Symphony No. 1 “Titan."
