Cancelled: Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra

Saturday, June 20, 2020 8 PM Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage
Daniel Barenboim by Monika Rittershaus
It’s a dream partnership when Daniel Barenboim, one of the great Mahler conductors, leads the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra in the mysterious and mirthful Symphony No. 7. Mahler’s massively scored symphony (including cowbells, mandolin, and guitar) moves in the shadows with its mysterious “night music,” but its exuberant finale is bright and boisterous fun with snippets of operetta, reference to the opening of Wagner’s Die Meistersinger, and a Turkish march joyously swirling together.

There is a limit of 8 tickets per household. Additional orders exceeding the ticket limit may be cancelled without notice. This includes orders associated with the same name, email address, billing address, credit card number and/or other information.

Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra is also performing June 19 and June 21.
