This event will not occur as previously announced. Since we are not able to have in-person events this fall, we plan to transform our Opening Night Gala into an exciting, virtual celebration. Stay tuned for more details!

There are few experiences as thrilling as Opening Night at Carnegie Hall, and this is one you will never forget. The Los Angeles Philharmonic returns to the Hall after a 30-year absence with Gustavo Dudamel on the podium conducting music by Grieg and John Adams. Adams’s rousing Tromba Lontana raises the curtain in a program that also features Lang Lang in Grieg’s Piano Concerto and soprano Liv Redpath in selections from Peer Gynt.
