Hear premieres from four of today’s most exciting composers performed by the legendary new-music orchestra. Shared connections run through this program with mentors and their protégées premiering new works. Hear Begin by Andrew Norman—Carnegie Hall’s Debs Composer’s Chair—and experience a world premiere by Jane Meenaghan, one of the young composers he coached. Pulitzer Prize winner Ellen Reid also presents a new composition on a program that includes a new work by her teacher, the inimitable George Lewis.
