Ensemble Connect by Fadi Kheir
Whether they are performing a lyrical string quartet by Haydn or a cutting-edge work commissioned by Carnegie Hall, there doesn’t seem to be anything the outstanding young musicians of Ensemble Connect can’t do. Their silky string tone is showcased in Tchaikovsky’s Souvenir de Florence, a melodic work that—despite its title’s reference to Italy—is filled with beautiful Russian tunes.
