Andris Nelsons by Marco Borggreve, Paul Lewis by Kaupo Kikkas
Autumnal spirits color music by Mozart and Dvorák. Paul Lewis’s performances of Mozart have been called “scintillating” (The New York Times). Experience it firsthand when he plays the master’s gently introspective final piano concerto with the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Dvorák’s Symphony No. 7 has a serious tone, but also a share of his trademark Slavic influences. Solemn but not tragic and richly melodic, it’s one of his most perfectly crafted symphonies.
