Alessio Bax, Piano

Tuesday, February 8, 2022 7:30 PM Weill Recital Hall
Andreas Ottensamer by Dan Carabas, Alessio Bax by Marco Borggreve
Witness a special night of music making when Andreas Ottensamer, principal clarinetist of the Berliner Philharmoniker, appears in his Carnegie Hall recital debut. A sought-after collaborator in chamber settings, Ottensamer has appeared with Yo-Yo Ma, Leonidas Kavakos, Leif Ove Andsnes, and other luminaries. For this recital, he partners with Alessio Bax—“clearly among the most remarkable pianists now before the public” (Gramophone)—for a program of works by Felix
Mendelssohn, R. Schumann, and Poulenc.
