East Meets West juxtaposes works by Brahms and Tchaikovsky with the exotic sounds of Mugam in Amirov's Mugam-Poema and a US premiere of Pendi Nagmalary by Turkmenistan composer, Suhan Tuyliyev. The program culminates in Kodaly's Violin/Cello Duo.
