Experience the vibrant future of the United States’ orchestral tradition, as the National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America (NYO-USA) continues its coast-to-coast North American tour with its first-ever performance in Canada. Conducted by the great Sir Andrew Davis, the concert features new music by Valerie Coleman, commissioned by Carnegie Hall in celebration of NYO-USA’s 10th birthday; Barber’s Violin Concerto, which highlights esteemed soloist Gil Shaham; and Berlioz’s wildly imaginative Symphonie fantastique.
