Gotham City Brass Quintet

This free, Saturday-afternoon concert invites all audiences to discover Staten Island’s Historic Richmond Town and enjoy the first-ever performance by the Gotham City Brass Quintet. Hear five exceptional New York musicians in a wide-ranging program that not only includes compositions for brass by Dukas, Scheidt, and David Chesky, but also a variety of creative brass arrangements of works by Bernstein (selections from West Side Story), J. S. Bach (originally composed for organ), Debussy (originally composed for unaccompanied choir), and Dalmau (originally composed for a Spanish military marching band).
