A Private Well-Being Concert for the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene
Sunday, November 17, 2024
2:30 PM
Resnick Education Wing
Be rejuvenated by a Sunday-afternoon Well-Being Concert led by guitarist, vocalist, and composer Camila Meza. Hosted bilingually in Spanish and English, this intimate event in the Resnick Education Wing combines a powerful musical performance with guided elements of self-care and mindfulness. Meza's influences range from boundary-redefining composers like Joni Mitchell and Björk to guitar greats like Wes Montgomery and Pat Metheny, and she has worked extensively with many of New York City's most innovative jazz artists. Experience her artistry—including songs from her latest project, Portal—in a unique communal setting designed to uplift audiences long after the performance ends.
Audience members can choose from a variety of casual and comfortable seating options, with mats, cushions, and chairs all available on a first-come, first-served basis.
NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene staff are invited to this concert and may bring one guest. RSVPs are required.
