An alumnus of the Curtis Institute of Music and a Kovner Fellow at The Juilliard School, William Yang won First Prize at the 2025 National Chopin Piano Competition, plus awards for best mazurka and sonata performances. He has earned recognition at the Cleveland, Cooper, and Midwest piano competitions, and will represent the US at the 19th International Chopin Competition in Warsaw this October. Celebrating his affinity for Chopin, his program also includes works by Bach and Ravel.
