Amália in America – Beyond Fado is a tribute concert to Amália Rodrigues, Portugal’s most iconic singer and a global ambassador of fado. She brought the genre to prestigious stages worldwide, elevating Portuguese music to new heights. Featuring the Portuguese Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Jan Wierzba, and fado singers Cristina Branco, Raquel Tavares, and Ricardo Ribeiro, the concert includes Broadway songs recorded by Amália and traditional Portuguese folk tunes.
