Violinist James Ehnes makes his Orpheus Chamber Orchestra debut in Postcards From Paris, a program featuring two French showpieces: Saint-Saëns’s Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso and Chausson’s Poème. Orpheus performs a bespoke arrangement of Debussy's Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun and gives New York premieres of a chamber symphony based on Ravel’s Piano Trio in A Minor and Jessica Meyer's Cartes Postales
